EMOTIONAL GUIDANCE SCALE – What It Is & How To RISE Up It

EMOTIONAL GUIDANCE SCALE – What It Is & How To RISE Up It

Many different manifestation methods are circulating on the internet today.

Whether it is the 3x6x9 method, the 5×55 method, gratitude journaling, or a good ‘ole fashioned vision board, nearly everyone in today’s world understands the fundamental idea behind manifesting and the law of attraction.

These popular methods don’t teach how to recognize and utilize your emotional vibration to decrease the time it takes you to manifest something into your life.

The Emotional Guidance Scale takes the guessing out of manifesting.

What is the Emotional Guidance Scale, and how do you rise up it?

Regardless of how difficult the manifestation is, the more positive emotion seeded into that manifestation, the easier it will flow into fruition.

Below you will learn about the Emotional Guidance Scale and tips to pull yourself out of the Downward Spiral Emotions so you can manifest your desired reality.

What Is The Emotional Guidance Scale?

Emotional Guidance Scale

The problem with older manifestation methods is they mainly focus on writing affirmations without emphasizing the importance of emotional frequencies.

The 3x6x9 method is inspired by Abraham-Hicks’ other manifestation method, The 17-Second Rule

If you are as detailed as possible with your affirmations in the 3x6x9 method, you could find some luck. This is because every detail you write adds more and more positive emotion.

Emotions are the threads sewn into the fabric of reality. It’s nearly impossible to have a thought without attaching an emotion to it. Memories themselves are seeded in emotion.

Negative emotions are synonymous with negative frequencies that lower your overall vibrational frequency.

Simply put, negative emotions (thoughts) create negative outcomes (realities).

Abraham-Hicks took it a step further in the 2004 book, “Ask and It Is Given”. Inside this book (and now all over the internet), you will find their famous Emotional Guidance Scale.

The Emotional Guidance Scale is essentially one long spiral, and 22 of the most common human emotions are placed somewhere on the spiral. The lower the emotion is in the spiral, the lower the frequency.

But before we go more into the Emotional Guidance Scale, let’s take a step back and get to know the geniuses behind the madness.

Abraham-Hicks And The Emotional Guidance Scale

Abraham-Hicks And The Emotional Guidance Scale

Abraham-Hicks is a publishing company dedicated to “the teachings of Abraham.” The wife and husband, Esther and Jerry Hicks started and run the company as well as co-write books together, including “Ask and It Is Given”.

Their company really gained traction when they began teaching about the Law of Attraction.

That’s right, most of what you’ve heard about the current Law of Attraction originated with this company.

If that’s not enough credibility, their “Money and the Law of Attraction” book made the New York Times #1 Best Seller’s list, and they have held workshops in over 60 cities a year since 1987.

Needless to say, they are pros at this sort of thing. In fact, many people in the past have referred to the Hicks’ as channels, but they like to see it a little differently, stating:

“You could leave the channeling out of it. Call it inspiration; that’s all it is. You don’t call the basketball player a channeler, but he is; he’s an extension of Source Energy. You don’t call the surgeon a channeler, but he is. You don’t call the musician, the magnificent master musician, you don’t call him a channeler, but he is. He’s channeling the broader essence of who he is into the specifics of what he is about”

This quote alone speaks volumes to what they are trying to [and already did] accomplish. To Esther, the Teachings of Abraham are the purest form of intelligence there is.

They are a symbol, an inspiration, a feeling. When one is aware of and connected with the divine energy of the universe, this sense of all-knowing intelligence can ease the deepest sorrow and most intense anxiety.

Esther and Jerry took the Teaching of Abraham from the spirit realm and birthed it into the physical.

Below is the complete list of the Teachings of Abraham-Hicks:

  1. You are a physical extension of that which is non-physical.
  2. You are here in this body because you chose to be here.
  3. The basis of your life is freedom; the purpose of your life is joy.
  4. You are a creator; you create with your every thought.
  5. Anything that you can imagine is yours to be or do or have.
  6. As you are choosing your thoughts, your emotions are guiding you.
  7. The universe adores you, for it knows your broadest intentions.
  8. Relax into your natural well-being. All is well. (REALLY IT IS!)
  9. You are a creator of thought ways on your unique path of joy.
  10. Action to be taken and possession to be exchanged are by-products of your focus on joy.
  11. You may appropriately depart your body without illness or pain.
  12. You can not die; you are everlasting life.

Still, emotions are intense, and when we experience low vibrational emotions, it’s even harder to snap out of it.

Abraham seemingly blessed Abraham-Hicks with the gift to create a tangible guidance scale for humans to refer to when they need it most.

And that is when the Emotional Guidance Scale was born.

The key is to refer to the scale when it’s really the last thing you want to do — especially when it’s the last thing you want to do.

Doing so will reprogram your brain to snap out of these “funks” more easily by itself!

More On the Emotional Guidance Scale

Abraham-Hicks anointed 22 common positive and negative human emotions to have an everlasting place on the Emotional Guidance Scale gifted from Spirit.

The 22 emotions on the scale include:

  1. Joy/Appreciation/Empowerment/Freedom/Love
  2. Passion
  3. Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
  4. Positive Expectation/Belief
  5. Optimism
  6. Hopefulness
  7. Contentment
  8. Boredom
  9. Pessimism
  10. Frustration/Irritation/Impatience
  11. Overwhelmed (feeling overwhelmed)
  12. Disappointment
  13. Doubt
  14. Worry
  15. Blame
  16. Discouragement
  17. Anger
  18. Revenge
  19. Hatred/Rage
  20. Jealousy
  21. Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness
  22. Fear/Grief/Desperation/Despair/Powerlessness

The first seven are considered the upward spiral.

Following the emotion “contentment” is 15 low vibrational emotions. One could see this and ask, “if the purpose of my life is joy, then why are there so many possibilities to experience negative, low vibrational emotions?”

My answer to you:

They never said it was going to be easy!

Taking charge of your emotions is hard. It takes a lot of hard work, patience, and love — self-love and love for everything and everyone else on the planet.

It’s likely, that when you begin your journey of mastering your emotions, you’ll experiencing many negative emotions before you reach the highest vibrational ones.

Much like when you break a bone and have to get surgery, things are going to feel like they’re getting worse before they get better.

The problem with manifesting is that people don’t understand what their desired reality entails because they haven’t done the work to get to know themselves.

21st-century humans have been conditioned to look outward rather than inward.

We are constantly over-stimulated and fed distractions that keep us from realizing who we are, why we are here, and what our life is actually meant to look like.

Before anything else, intense introspective work accompanies manifestation.

Emotions And Their Energetic Power

Emotions And Their Energetic Power

Emotions hold just as much power in manifesting as thoughts, if not more. If thoughts are the vehicle that drives manifesting, then emotions are the gas that gets you there.

Putting regular unleaded gas into a car that takes premium might work at first, but after a while, that car will start to break down.

Emotions and thoughts work the same way when manifesting. Without emotional mastery, you are likely to continue manifesting negative people, places, and things into your life.

Not only that but if you follow the Emotional Guidance Scale and you begin your manifestations but then negative thoughts and feelings start to creep in, this will hinder your abilities to bring your manifestations into reality form.

A Secret Trick to Quickly Master Your Emotions

Emotions are inherently neutral.

There are many things that turn emotion into a negative, including one’s memory of how they physiologically reacted to a similar situation in the past.

The quickest way to begin mastering your emotions is to reprogram your brain. And no, I promise it’s not as hard as it sounds.

Ever heard the expression, “fake it ‘til you make it”?

All you have to do is catch yourself in that memory. Next, the moment the sadness, pain, frustration, or anxiety ensues, stop it in its tracks. Rather, force yourself to change the emotion to one of joy, peace, or hope.

You can do this by immediately thinking of a time that you felt happy, at peace, or hopeful.

Even if the memory has nothing to do with the negative memory, you will trick your brain to eventually release those negative emotions triggered by the negative memory.

Some might say this is a form of bypassing your trauma and not getting to the root of the issue, and that can be true. To experience the best results, it’s important that you do this exercise in tandem with your regular self-discovery and introspection practices.

The more you get to know your spirit, and it’s purpose on Earth, your negative emotions won’t seem so powerful anymore.

Master Your Emotions

Another great way to stay high on the Emotional Guidance Scale is to continuously remind yourself of all you have to live in the now.

Alan Watts famously stated:

“For unless one is able to live fully in the present, the future is a hoax. There is no point whatever in making plans for a future which you will never be able to enjoy. When your plans mature, you will still be living for some other future beyond. You will never, never be able to sit back with full contentment and say, ‘Now, I’ve arrived!’ Your entire education has deprived you of this capacity because it was preparing you for the future, instead of showing you how to be alive now.”

This might seem paradoxical when speaking about manifesting, but thinking of reality in this manner will only help your manifestation come to fruition.

That is to say, as long as you keep thinking of your goals, dreams, and desires as things you will obtain in the future, you will never obtain them because the future is an illusion that doesn’t exist. There is only the here and now.

There’s a more simplified version of this quote that states, “Quit saying you’ll do it tomorrow.”

Regardless of where you are on your journey, the only way you’ll get anywhere is by pressing the gas pedal, not by thinking of when you’ll press the gas pedal in the future.

Reviewing Yourself On The Emotional Scale

Now, before we finish with things you can start doing to help move up the Emotional Guidance Scale and obtain Emotional Intelligence, let’s dive into reviewing your emotions.

The act of reviewing your emotions first begins by learning your triggers and recognizing the moment you feel an emotion begin to form.

The more you practice, the better you’ll get, and soon you’ll be able to recognize an emotion the moment you feel it come up.

Of course, the work doesn’t stop there. You must then decipher where the emotion came from and if it was even yours, to begin with.

And that’s on being an empath — for all the Gen Z’s out there.

Sometimes, the emotions we pick up from others can seem just as real as our own emotions.

So, before you lose all hope for yourself and get caught in the downward spiral of the Emotional Guidance Scale, remember that you are not your emotions or thoughts. Rather, you are a creator of thoughts and emotions.

Allow yourself to feel through each passing emotion and know they are valid.

In the same sense, if your emotions seem irrational or forced, be real with yourself enough to call yourself out.

At the end of the day, our collective reality is a direct result of our inner world, and emotional accountability is key.

What You Can Do To Move Up the Emotional Guidance Scale

Move Up the Emotional Guidance Scale

It’s important to note that emotions come in waves, and so do their frequencies.

Sometimes they are high, and sometimes they are low. Regardless of how long you’ve been on your spiritual journey, you are still likely to feel low vibrational emotions from time to time.

We are all human at the end of the day.

The goal is not to aim for a life filled with only joyous moments. The goal is to help ease the frustrations and confusions of life with self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

This is a friendly reminder to give yourself a break sometimes.

You are here, and that’s all there is.

Allow yourself to feel relieved by that kind of awareness.

The Emotional Guidance Scale provides a tangible vibrational scale for one to pinpoint, where their current emotion is located.

After that point, the individual can visually see each higher vibrational emotion between where they are and the vibration of joy.

From there, it’s up to the individual to do the work to raise their emotional frequency.

Of course, there are a few things that can help one quickly snap out of a funk and get back on track for manifesting.

There are a few things one can do to move up the Emotional Guidance Scale after experiencing a bout of negativity:

1. Regularly practice self-discovery and introspection

We are always growing and changing.

Just because you remembered who you were last year doesn’t mean your work is done. Self-discovery and introspection are a never-ending game. This might sound like it will potentially bring out negative emotions, but remember, sometimes that’s a good thing.

If negative emotions arise, it’s important to allow them to flow through and out of your body.

Either that or practice the act of transmuting the negativity to positivity.

Regardless, the idea is to get that negative blockage out of the system to allow for higher vibrational emotions and energies.

2. Practice daily verbal affirmations

One way to naturally reprogram your brain to vibrate at a higher frequency is to talk yourself up in the mirror every single day, even if you don’t believe it at first.

If you continue to do this every day, it will get easier, and you will begin to believe it to be true (because it is… you are everything you need. You are everlasting love).

3. Journal

journal

This is coming from a writer, but much like when manifesting, journaling your negative emotions in detail can help the mind to let go and allow them to leave the body.

4. Do something that forces you to get moving

As the heart rate increases and the body temperature elevates, energy blockages can be transmuted or released.

It also puts you in a completely different mindset than you were when you experienced negative emotions.

5. Breathwork and meditation

The Breath of Fire yoga utilizes a specific type of breathwork that ignites the gut and reduces stress and anxiety.

Meditation is always a great option because it focuses the mind back to center. If you are unable to meditate in the traditional sense, active meditation works just as well!

Emotional intelligence and self-awareness go hand-in-hand.

As you progress down this path, you will come up with your own ways of transmuting negative emotions in order to create the reality of your dreams.

Good luck!
